Hi,, I am new to the blog.
I sent my application back in August 27th, it was routed to Vermont. I had my biometrics appointment on 9/21/12 and still haven't gotten approved. I have a removal order from a lost asylum case (I was about 12 years old) and my family got deported in 2006 when I was 16.
I have no criminal record, great high school grades... but I wonder, is there a longer processing time for applicants with removal orders? I see there are a few August applicants still waiting for approvals, could it be that this is our common denominator?

There is no special treatment for any cases... at least not that we can be sure of.

Sorry to hear about your family, i don't think there's a longer processing time for applicants with removal orders they are just there with everyone else UNLESS you are detained by ICE and applied for DACA through ICE then i think the process is faster for those applicants, I read about this a while back.

A common denominator is Vermont Service center (to a certain extend). As for the wait on approvals, like a person previously mentioned, there is no evidence, statement, or actually prove provided by USCIS that certain cases would be longer then other because of unique situations (at lest I don't know of any info so far). There is people who send there application on August, service center California, who are still in the waiting game.
I hope for you the best.
