Do you need help contacting your congressman or senator?

i understand and i feel extreamly lucky.. But you did apply on time so if anything it will help your case. Its out of your control..you did your part.. Im stupid for applying way to late and would have been my fault if anything.. But keep on pressing them dont stop!! I posted my time line so that anyone whos daca expired or is about to expire can have what little hope i needed to renew. i was skeptical and scared for a bit.

USCIS must make renewal process transparent.

They do make it clear on the approvel notice that anyones daca can be terminated at anytime and that they can show up at your house/job at anytime...

Went to biometrics on February 23. Today March 5th got my employment authorization card in the mail. Overall it took me a month to get everything done.

Tried to do a walk in but they refused. Said they were too busy and short handed. Appointment is on the 13th

How does one go about asking their congressman or senator?

I would just call the Congressman's local office and schedule an appointment or do a walkin if that's allowed.

Call them up and ask to speak to someone who deals with immigration assistance. The person you speak to will let you know what information they need. I remember I had to e-mail a signed form with my A# and other personl information. Some congressman and senators have immigration release forms on their websites.
