Plus if your appt is in Naperville location, walk in is not an option. I'm guessing this is because Chicago area is full of minorities.

This makes me wonder if USCIS doesn't start reviewing the packages until the ACTUAL day of ur scheduled biometrics appt and NOT the day of your walk in.

Not fair that my biometrics location is in the ghetto with ghetto securities who barely speak English themselves. Rolling their eyes so damn much I was just waiting for them to fall out of their socket.

Meanwhile, I just learned my bosses working on cutbacks and promotions within my group. Promotions will mean transferring from the agency I work for to the company I work in (which does the E-Verify thing). And of course cutbacks means getting fired. Neither of which are good for me. If I get promoted to a company job I don't have my EAD yet. And if I'm cut I'm screwed.

well I'm from chicago, and i had my lawyer send in my packet which was mailed on 09/06 and she said should have been there 09/07. I still haven't received an I-797c in the mail. She didn't fill out the g1145 because she said she was filing a g28 or something and once I would receive my case number I could sign up for text/email notifications. I want to call and find out what is going on, but I don't know how to identify myself. I'm guessing mine should have been rerouted to Texas as well.

A friend went to a lawyer today, who told him that the receipt and biometrics appointment are both coming together now instead of two different mails. I don't know how true that is since I haven't read anything about it on this forum yet.

Just freaking out a little.. no biggie lawl

If she lives in Chicago, she will get routed to TX.
