Five and Six Month Waiting/approved - Page 9

So as I hit the six month mark and I put in the service request. This is the response they sent me:

Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 6 months of this letter, please contact customer service at the number provided below.

6 months in a few days.

What??? 6 Months of this letter. That's BS

6 months just became 12 months just like that

It really does suck. I'm stuck waiting. Can't think of anything else to do but pray and hope I get approved soon

Just curious, do you have prior case or anything that they would require additional review?

Yes I do have a prior case. I spoke with my lawyer and he said my prior case is not a means for denial though. Also, my brother and I both had basically the same prior case so I don't understand why it takes longer for them to review my case and his was approved in less than 2 months

It's the idiots that are handling our cases. Sometimes, you get some hard headed person that isn't sure of a certain thing so it delays the case.

Yep, exactly. They would never admit it but that has to be the case. My congressman's office basically said the same thing
