I'm using the 245(I) law as well I also paid the $1,000 and I don't think they are talking about 245(I) waiver. Remember that he (the president) can't change laws, only congress can change laws. 245(I) was passed by congress. Laws are more powerful than an executive order.

- Jan 2017 - Just updating my case. My lawyer informed me my applications were received from Jan 9 -Jan 18... seems like it took longer than everyone else to receive receipts. The receipt #'s are all MSC. Is that the Missouri Service Center? Anyone had any experience with this one?

- Nov 2014 - received initial DACA approval
- Apr 2016 - successfully used AP to travel to and from the Philippines
- Jun 2016 - filed for DACA renewal
- Sep 2016 - married my husband (together for 8 yrs, engaged for 2 of those yrs)
- Oct 2016 - received approval for DACA renewal
- Dec 2016 - submitting AOS application via attorney (my case is complicated since I am adopted) The docs they filed were I-485, I-765, I-131, G325A, I-130, I-864, G28, & I-693 aka sealed medical exam.

Now the wait begins, will update this thread as my application progresses. Also, does anyone know if my pending I-485 will grant me authorization to remain in the US if DACA, for some horrific reason, is taken away once Trump takes office?

I saw the order and didn't see anything about waivers being removed that's a lie and as for the executive order he did I got this info from a lawyer “Executive orders do not change existing law. Executive orders cannot contradict existing law. And executive orders can be challenged for violating constitutional and legal standards in their enforcement,”

I haven't gotten a case update since I filed for DACA 12/23/15 until yesterday. "My case was transferred and a new office has taken jurisdiction." which means exactly what it says but my question is Why and How long before it gets looked over and approved or denied? It's been 13 months since i applied and exactly 1 year since i got my biometrics done. Last friday i got my biometrics letter for i-485 and i-765 for february 3rd and i decided to take a gamble and walk in to see if they would welcome me or turn me away and thankfully they took my biometrics without even looking at my appointment date. Super stoked on that, i just want something to happen with my DACA so i can get a SSN and not have to wait the time for AOS. If anyone has experienced what i've experienced on my i-821d where it gets transffered, please tell me your timeline as well as how long after they approved or denied your application. In what order Will my AOS applications work out, what's the process?Thank you!

FIRST APPLICATION: i-821D/i-765
9/29/14 - NSC
10/22/14 - BIO
5/10/15 - RFE (accreditation of online high school diploma)
6/14/15 - RFE REPLY (replied with onlinewebsite evidence of accredidation. Fake website)
8/6/15 - DENIED
(High school not accredited)

Second Application: i-821D/i-765
12.23.15 - WAC
1.25.16 - BIO
1.25.17 - CASE WAS TRANSFERRED AND ANOTHER OFFICE IS TAKING JURISDICTION
1.26.17 - NO CIGAR YET

FIRST APPLICATION: Adjustment of Status through 245i. i-485/i-130/i-131/i-765
1.2.17 - Application Received MSC
2.3.17 - Biometrics APPT, Walk-In 1.24.17

thank you!

i am not sure how to count because my case was a bit weird towards the end:

interview (approved whilst there): Jan 10
on this same day, after i left the building, the officer called me to say that he approved my case without realizing i had not had my finger prints. the day after, he called to say he requested them from the biometrics department and that if they were good, i would not need them.

i ended up not needing them because on Jan 18, my status changed to Approved on the USCIS portal. on the 23rd, my status changed again to say that the card had been mailed.

the card arrived on the 26th because i checked on the 25th and it was not there.

so either 2.5 weeks or 3 days depending on how you look at it.

from past posters, i think you should get it within a week after.

how are you going to test it?!?!?

That is insane you have had to wait so long for an update to your case...and now have three EAD applications. Technically, your AOS application will be prioritized. I would actually withdraw both DACA applications and save some money.

corrections. i have 2 EADs processing. The i765 pending on the i821d and the i765 i got pending on the new i485 process. Theres no point in withdrawing since if i gain DACA, it would just be icing on the i485 cake because it would speed up my opportunity to gaining a SSN, which is something i need desperately. I have a feeling that with the transfer of my case to another office (same one handling my i485, MSC) that they should be reviewing and realizing they are 8 months behind (13months) behind. Any day now, is what i keep telling myself.

FIRST APPLICATION: i-821D/i-765
9/29/14 - NSC

1.28.17 - NO CIGAR YET
