after a wait of 6 months and 2 weeks. they transferred my case to nebraska

Well fuck. Vermont is probably just gonna drop everyone to Nebraska. Guess I'd get my work permit for Christmas now.

Announcement from USCIS:

FML!!!! looked online got tranfrred to local office but how come some got transfred to nebraska?? And does this mean faster prossecing ?

dont worry. Some people had their cases transferred to local office since theres a huge backlog. i believe this is a normal procedure. this should speed up the process

On the 15th when I checked online it said transferred to local office but once I received the letters in the mail it said Nebraska. I doubt, or I haven't heard of anyone, who was actually transferred to their local office. All transfers were sent to Nebraska.

I was transferred Feb. 15th, the letter has the USPS stamp of Feb. 19th so I would say I got it 2-3 days after the 19th.
