So here is my sad story. I have been giving the run around by USCIS and USPS. My renewal was accepted in April 22nd. I did my bios on May 18th and was approved on August 8th. I did not get my card in the mail two weeks afterwards. I then submitted a SR and got a bs response saying that they had sent out my card and gave me a tracking number. I then use the tracking number and see my card was delivered on the 19th of August. However the post office delivered it to the wrong address. I then called USCIS and they said to get a letter from the Post office stating they lost the card. I then went to the post office to get a letter for USCIS. The post master did not want to write a letter. I went above him and receive the letter from consumer affairs. I got the letter from the post office FINALLY after about two weeks. I then called USCIS and they told me to wait the full 60 days. I called back on Monday, and they scheduled me for a call back. I finally got the call back and the agent said that I had to refile and pay the fee even though I had the proof! I don't get it! The email says if I can show proof I don't have to pay and now they are saying I have to pay? WTH?!

FUCK. That is awful.

If you haven't already, you should schedule an InfoPass. It will be harder for someone to ignore you and just give you the runaround if you're right there in front of them.

I went to check on case tracker but it still says EAD in production and nothings been updated since last week's update hmmm, i wonder what this means o.O
Same, bro. I thought it was a change on the ELIS for a sec, but checked both and no change since last week. It just means the text update system is lagging.

^This. That's completely bullshit and I would not take that as an answer. Keep trying until you get a supervisor to admit that you weren't at fault and place full blame to USPS.

I got a email from NSC responding to my previous angry emails. It says:
"USCIS records indicate that your Form I-821D was granted and the Form I-765 was approved on September 8, 2016, and the data pertaining to the Form I-765 was submitted for the production of the EAD. However, it appears that there was an issue with the card production. The EAD production went through on October 10, 2016, and the EAD is being produced. The validity dates for the EAD will be October 8, 2016 through October 7, 2018.
We are currently experiencing a delay in EAD card production due to the high volume of applications being processed. You should receive the EAD within 30-60 days. You are invited to view the status of your case at www.USCIS.gov under “Check your case status”. We appreciate your patience. "

So its still in production?!!
Now theyre acknowledging that there were delays due to high volume of applicants -___-

Ooh, I hope I get an email response from them, too!
At my InfoPass appointment now, waiting for my number to be called. Will update later.
