Oh wow Just read your post again and I see why you're shocked. Relax, I'm sure nobodys case will be delayed by a year.

What I heard today from an agent, shocked me.

I asked her about the processing time for everything and she began to tell me that the ANTICIPATED processing time for DACA is 4-6 months (as we all know). I was a bit confused because she said anticipated because so far I was believing that it would take them exactly 4-6 months to process your case and it would not take longer than that. So I asked the agent, "You mean if I have not heard from USCIS about my case after 6 months, there is still nothing that I can do because you're saying that the processing time could be longer than 6 months as well? Maybe even a year or two?" To that question she responded "Yes sir that is correct" and I said "Oh, wow, did not know that. Guess I'll just wait then. Thank you for your help you are very kind Donna " then she laughed and we said goodbye to each other <3 and the call was then disconnected.

I am not sure if I am shocked but it just makes me think like, wow, so If I was one of the first few to send an app in, and I am not yet approved after people who have gotten approved that have applied after me, will my application take months and months? Just worries me. Maybe I could have done something else with that $465 and waited to apply later and I would have gotten approve faster from a different service center.
Moizy! I miss you! Glad you're back.

I don't think it will take more than 6 months. It is just information clearing. I also like I keep mentioning I don't think is one person doing the final approval. I think applications get looked at by a minimum of 2 people if not more. To avoid fraud. I think is a combination of 1)how fast your fingerprints clear 2)how fast your name clears 3)If you have a previous case do they have to do any adjustments example: If you have a deportation order or court appointment they obviously have to contact the department of justice EOIR or if your a visa overstay. They have to let them know your approved first. 4) How much information you send and what type of information you send. We all think we send tight packages. But one never know. Some people have been approved with just 10 pages other receive RFE's when they think they have sent that information already. It is just how fast your information clears.

I did mine today and my friend has hers on Monday. In the oxnard ASC Cali. My appointment was at 9 but got there 8:15 and was out by 8:50am. It seems like there's more holidays. Who knows how many vacations days they get 2 days Thanksgiving 2 days Christmas. 2 days New Years. Be posititive!!!

Hello to everyone and congrats to those approved.

Hey MadMan and 2Face. Hows everything?

Flyingagainstthewind, I understand what you are saying. It is possible that my app wont take six months but keeping in mind that the workload for DACA is now increasing, new applicants might even see longer wait times than the "anticipated 4-6 months"

Also, side note, my birthday is this sunday. *fingers crossed*

Maybe they're like "ahh what the heck, ill give this kid the good news on his birthday"
