In case you have not realized it by this point, USCIS does not give two shits whether we renew or not. "boycotting" would result in absolutely nothing - since A. no one is going to do it and B. No fucks given.
The best approach is to get the word out, tell your stories, pressure your congressional reps and local orgs and actually drive change.

Maybe they'll send our EADs within the next weeks. The 30-60 days is a generic thing they tell people all the time -__-

I dont buy the 10/8 dates - it does not match the 821D. Its a fact USCIS now lies to get people off their back. in addition 30-60 days?!? that is ridiculous. that means that at max people approved on 9/8 will have lost 3 months of work, if not fired by then. such fucking bullshit. All of this could have been fixed by a simple letter extension which they give to STEM (students) based EADs. I am in communication with UWD and other orgs that have reached out to USCIS - and want to keep raising the issue that the Corrective Action is to have extensions! so fucking pissed |

Great - Thanks Ayran123, I will send an email today - i am CC'g the congressional aide that has been helping me. Tempted to CC univision and telemundo reporters on it too - but ill hold off on that.

I feel exactly the same way. I dont understand why they cant prioritize your eads and complete them. Theyre doing others that were approved after -___- this make no sense at all and im partly not even surprised. Its nearing two weeks. They expect to take years to make a card! So frustrating.

Vivace, didnt a tier 2 officer tell you yesterday that your ead has been produced? O.o maybe theres a lag in notification?
