I guess if you have DACA, you just go pay taxes on it or form a trust and you're done, but I was wasting some brain capacity thinking about this today as I bought my ticket... Seems like it would open up a whole new can of worms for me...IRS is all of a sudden going to realize I exist. I'd probably have to go my lawyer first who's going to roll his eyes at me and say something like "Well, maybe you can finally find a wife now that you have money, you dumb fuck"...All in all it seems like a good problem to have.

The first thing to do: pay for a decent upgrade to this forum's infrastructure.

You'd probably be fine. IRS only cares about 1 thing; did you pay your taxes? If yes, you're fine. If not, then you'll owe fees and penalties, but then you're rich so again, you're fine.

I think you just pay more taxes on it. Otherwise no problems. I play on a weekly basis not just when the winnings are huge. There have even been tourists from other countries who have won big on scratch offs and drawings and they were able to collect their winnings.

I'd take one lump sum payment, I'd split it in 3 or 4 banks, buy a Green Card, get a financial advisor, create a fund for DACA scholarships, they'll have to write me an essay about their career goals along their grades. And many, many other things.

Do not do this.

All you need to do is report your earnings to the IRS. If you're on DACA, you have an SSN and you can report them to the IRS without an issue.

If you're undocumented, get an ITIN number and report your earning that way.

All the IRS wants is their money. Nothing to worry about.
