Hi guys,

So I have an iPhone 7 with AT&T. I've been doing the contract thing with them every two years, my current one expires March 2017. I have been contemplating leaving them because they do not offer unlimited data.

Originally, I was planning to switch to the provider that offered unlimited data for the iPhone 7 at the best price. I was willing to go into another 2-year contract. However, it seems like companies don't do contracts anymore. Is this true? I do not want to get into that installment payments thing, and T-Mobile doesnt allow you to just pay for the phone up front.

Are any of you guys familiar with any of this, and have any suggestions on what is my best bet?

Just buy the iphone 7 from the apple store if you do not want to do installments. they come unlocked anyways, but beware that TmobileONE is a bit of scam.

Compared to the old plans there is a $30 price hike, BingeOn only allows for unlimited streaming at 480P and if you want to stream anything at a higher resolution you also have to pay more to be allowed to do so, where as the grandfathered plans you got all that without spending anything more.

I wont be leaving my plan since Tmobile upgraded my family plan from 10GB to "Truly unlimited"

anyways the tmobile subreddit has quite a few threads/complaints about it
