how long does it take to receive the text message and email after you send out your package? We sent out renewal application on 10/01 and arrive on 10/02 based on the mail tracker. Usually from past renewal applications, it took 4-5 days after arrival to get the email/text notification. has things slowed down due to COVID?

I didn’t get a text message this last time that I sent in my renewal. But I did see it in the website that it was received two days after I mailed it in. I sent in my renewal 11 months early in November 2019 and I expire in 7 days. My Daca was approved but EAD is still under background check. I see some people get theirs very quickly and for me, the only thing that I can see is taking them more time is my name change. I got married and requested to change my name. I kind of wish I would have left my maiden name and not be pending still.

did you receive any sort of notification that they received it? my renewal was delivered on the 12th, but have not received a text message and my USCIS account has not been updated.

When did you sent your renewal?

I sent mine on October 8, I haven’t received any text message, email or mail yet of any acknowledgement. But it did arrived 2 days after I shipped it. I’m not sure why it’s taking this long. I even check if the money order has been cashed out but it hasn’t.

Mine expired on 12/10.

similar time line, i sent mine out 10/9, and arrived 10/13. the check i sent has not been cashed either. i can't remember how soon i received any notifications with my previous renewals but i do remember the check getting cashed within the week of delivery. i've been checking every morning and night for an update.

What lockbox facility did you sent it to? I sent it to Chicago lockbox.

Just an update. I got a text and email notification at 9:30pm today that they received it and gave me a case ID. I went to my USCIS account I can see that it’s updated on the website for both forms. Also, based on the mail they are going to send which I can see on the website, they will be using the previous biometric.
