I think Beto is the best bet for Dems come 2020... We need new young leadership in Washington with fresh energy and new ideas. I can see him emerging like Obama did.

thats the deal u wanted.
You still don’t get it. I don’t care if there are more beds or less beds. I don’t sleep there. If they were to end the shutdown, DMs should have asked more than just a deal on beds. More than just some “btw we now can house fewer people”.

this is true. we need younger generation and people with spine in Congress.

idc if its AOC or if Tomi Lahren runs, they stick to their guns.

we need people who represent our age group in there.

Beto! Tulsi!

what more can they ask that didnt change the status quo?

Trump didnt get nothing, $1.375 bil is way more less than he asked for.

no wall, no nothing.

he'll probably be compelled to sign this one, then just do some executive action to build the wall or declare a natl emergency when Ann Coulter calls him out.

I don’t get why they couldn’t add a removal of the 10yr re-entry ban for all childhood arrivals. Seems like simple and logical thing to do that should work for both sides. The dems can claim they did something for us and the reps can say they did something that gets us out of the country. Win-win.

Republicans would spin it as encouraging illegal immigration. Honestly, permanent DACA or better for wall was the best deal.

Also lol at people in this forum. "If I'm not the benefactor, it's bad and I'm angry. Nothing else matters."

You should realize that if everyone was like you and those are the American voters / politicians, DACA people would never get legalized.

I have been reading this forum for a long time and I have started to contribute much more recently... You are clearly someone that is being paid to post on here... You definitely have an agenda... You are on here to tell people that there isn't much the democrats do! What else could have they done!!! You always say the same shit over and over again and attack the dreamers that do not fall in line with the democratic narrative... You are disgusting!

When is it going to be our turn?! Why should we care about how many detention beds there should be?

TRUMP MADE AN OFFER FOR THE WALL AND THE DEMOCRATS DID NOT EVEN COUNTER HIM!

ALL OF YOU ON HERE KEPT SAYING THAT IF THE DEMOCRATS COUNTER OFFERED THEN THEY WERE GOING TO GET BLAMED FOR SHUTTING DOWN THE GOVERNMENT! WHY DIDNT THE DEMOCRATS COUNTER OFFER TRUMP AFTER THE GOVERNMENT WAS OPEN? ANSWER THAT QUESTION IN A LOGICAL WAY!! COME ON!!!

There was no logical reason for them to not counter offer Trump after the government was open! They want to pass the Dream Act in the House and then watch it fail in the Senate so that they can used to gain points from the far far far left...

Same shit, different year!

Does this mean Dream Act will pass in Senate? We know House is the easy pass.
