im a structural engineer so I'll be applying to oil companies in Texas and also civil companies like parsons, Jacobs, ch2mhil, but ultimately i will take any engineering job to start with.

If you can get a job with an oil company in texas s a petroleum engineer this is all I can say,

Petroleum engineer= mega swag

x2...they're getting paid like 200k up here. Get into fracking, you'll be out in the sticks but it pays.

Getting a paid internship next summer hopefully. Getting paid for engineering research in college by Spring semester. Let's see... When I graduate... kickass engineering job! Maybe get my MBA!

I am going to get my PhD hopefully now funded!!! Woohoo! If not hopefully I can get a job at CAT and they usually pay for school.

I cannot wait.

I am still skeptical that this work permit thing will go through.

Sigh... it does not hurt to dream though.

I think everyone is a little scared, but for once I'm gonna just hope and dream everything is going to be fine. What you studying?

Oh nice! I am too, but undergrad. Got two more years to go, and then it's off to work hopefully. Would have done grad school, but already paying ridiculous amounts of money for tuition. Gonna try to lighten the burden from my parents, and then maybe go back to school later. Can't wait to gettin' that normal life!
