I feel like you're wasting your time, since you don't fit two requirements. It sucks, and I'm sorry. I have some friends who arrived on July 15, 2007 and it's been like a punch in the gut for them. But I'd tell you not to apply because it's pretty sure you'll get denied and you may be wasting $465.

One can hope they would be lenient about your situation. Perhaps if it works out, it can give some hope for a few 31 and up dreamers. It's a gamble. I would certainly suggest talking to a few lawyers (consult free) or going to a few workshops and ask whether it would be a good idea.

Definitely consult a lawyer. Don't give up yet but yes definitely ask a lawyer if he would be willing to take this up.

I say you try. If I were you, I'D DEF TRY. I wouldn't mind throwing away $465 just for a small chance. Or no chance. I'll do it because I couldn't live with "what if". DO IT. AND GOOD LUCK!!!!

I would definitely give it a try if i were in your shoes.
And i don't mind if you slow down my processing time, unlike some others here.

Go for it.

- I am not 30+ years old.

but the only thing I am missing is the date of arrival. I got here not on or before June 15th of 2007 but a month and 1 day later from that date which was July 16th, 2007.

Do you guys think I still qualify?
Should I still Apply ?
Would they deny it just because of that ?

I'm confused
You don't qualify for Deferred Action but you probably well qualify for Dream Act. when it passes

Sigh.. you know it sucks for people over 31+ or people that arrived after 2007, but come on guys. It's written in English, in so many formats and even announced by the president on June 15, 2012 the REQUIREMENTS needed.

If the requirements aren't followed or relaxed, that would create chaos both for the ones meeting it, and the ones that didn't read. And it ends up people wasting their $465 which isn't a small amount like a movie ticket or something.

It's not the waiting time of people you should consider, its what's written in the immigration policy.

The bright side tho is, it is a policy and can change, but not right now.

Well most of us do. If you want to sacrifice yours feel free.

But is it really THAT hard to just follow the rules they laid out for us... oh well I guess if we did, we wouldn't have been illegal in the first place.
