I used to have Full scope Medi-Cal until last Feb. of 2015. I had no idea they had taken it away until I tried to make a dr.s appointment.

I was doing research and it says that DACA applicants should be able to qualify per this article :

https://org2.salsalabs.com/o/5009/im....10.2013-3.pdf

When I was able to get thru an actual person they told me that they gave it to me by accident. That because I was not an LPR or a citizen I did not qualify, only for ER visits. Has this happened to anyones else here in CA?

I qualify under the income requirements for the state of CA.
Please help. I am really frustrated

They should give you full scope as long as you are within the income limits and as long as they have a copy of your daca card on file.

You can mail your card and print out of that link you posted and ask for your case to be reevaluated. Make sure you were not denied for other reasons such as you didn't turn in something (usually renewal or you are over income)

Only for ca people and is administered by county social services. Google your county and medi-cal application to apply directly with the county or you can apply using the covered ca website.

The paper application is the same as the covered ca application. You can go to your local social services and apply. But the program is called medi-cal. Each county has his own thing so google your county.

Like I said I qualify based on my income guidelines. The person that I talked to said they gave it to me by mistake. When I applied almost a year ago, I explicitely said that I was under DACA and gave them my EAD card my CA ID and my ssn card. They made a copy of it.

The person that I talked to said they gave it to me by mistake the first time around. But I told that I had DACA.

For those that live in CA. If you qualify YOU can get full scope Medical ofcourse assuming you have DACA. I already re-applied. Hopefully that will get thier acts together this time around.
