I don’t hate my dad even though it is all his fault that we are in the situation we are in. He kept procrastinating and delaying applying for asylum when we first came to the US. Everyone kept telling him to do it and all the people that we know and he worked with as in the same situation as us applied and are all citizens now. But look at us FFS.

My parents had a petition back around late 2000- early 2001 but unfortunately 9/11 prevented the process from going forward. My parents later got their GCs after my US citizen born brother petitioned them although they had to wait until he turned 21 first.

if DACA end and you have nothing...that's kind of your fault. If DACA ends for me, I would still be able to function successfully.

My brother is petitioning my father now. Interview is going to be next month. I hope everything goes well and he gets his GC.
