So people are mentioning Canada but I was under the impression only highly skilled people would qualify.

While I have many skills/talents, I only have a high school diploma. Would I be incorrect in assuming I have no chance with Canada without the proper documentation from a higher institution of education?

Well most of us are thinking of express entry.. to be honest I don't know if we will qualify but that's the route that I'm sure most are thinking of.

I actually have a lot of questions myself. The company I work for has a base in Canada l. But. How do we even go about it? I mean. Do we apply for visa first?

I am gonna bring it up with my employer in February, as I expire in October of 18. But just curious to see if anyone knows.

In case you ask. I hold an engineering degree.

Many of us worked before DACA, and it wasnt a problem when we applied for it.
How does this work though? I would figure asking for cash under the table would throw up some red flags?

The EAD would expire, so wouldn't something trigger somewhere if you were on payroll or something?

Would the SSN still work as if you were "EAD approved" after expiration?

First of all you need an occupation that is needed (or a job offer). Then you also need to have enough points so that you'll be picked out of the pool of applicants. The points are based on English and/or French language skills, education, family in Canada, age, etc. There's a simple assessment test you can talk on the Canadian Immigration website to see if you preliminary qualify.

Nothing...the very least Bridge Act will pass. If Congress totally fails completely...Trump tweeted that he will revisit the issue. Now that not much assurance but in the unlikelihood we are left with nothing then I will just head back into the shadow for 2 years. I have business ventures to run anyways. You're not allow to work for a company but you can run your own business no problem.

Save money, maybe work under the table after EAD expires. Brush up on my Spanish and try landing a job in some coastal town in Mexico as a translator or something. No point in being somewhere I'm not wanted.

My options are limited. Save money, keep working wherever i can work. support my kids. Pray that something happens. I would hate to leave the US. I have kids and wouldn't be fair to them.
