I'm New

What up everyone.
Just found the site, hoping like hell the DREAM Act passes. Im a u.s. citizen but my wife was brought here from Mexico when she was 11. she's 28 now. I'm sure my situation mirrors several other members here so I won't go into full detail. Just wanted to introduce myself.

We're all here pretty much in the same situation and hopefully the DREAM ACT will pass.



EDIT: If you're a U.S. Citizen why haven't you applied for her to become a legal resident?

because she doesn't know anyone that she can stay with in Juarez when they require her to go back for the interview. there's a 50/50 chance that she'll either be granted the opportunity to come back or denied. we have 2 sons and we can't risk that right now. plus there's a back log of people waiting, and everything I've read/watched/heard has said that extreme caution must be taken when attempting to do this.

Lets hope Dream Act will pass and your wife will be able to help herself from there instead of having to go back to that dangerous place called Juarez.

Welcome! If you haven't, you might want to go to here for more info on legalization through marriage when your spouse entered without inspection. Just to get even more familiar. Otherwise, please stick around and help pass the DREAM Act!
