DescriptionOn Tuesday June 23, 2009 United We Dream coalition members will be holding graduation ceremonies from coast to coast. The main event will be in Washington D.C., with solidarity events taking place all across the country.

This is the tentative agenda:
National DREAM Graduation — Tentative Agenda:

9:00 to 11:00 ……………. Orientation and training (legislative / media) - USSA (United States Student Association) & NILC (National Immigration Law Center)


11:00 to 12:00 …………… Break / Lunch

12 to 1:30 ………………….. Graduation ceremony

2 to 5:00 …………………. Legislative visits (groups 5 and larger schedule your own — Contact Olga from NCLR for help)

5:30 to 6:30 ……………… Debrief

You can come the whole day and have fun, or you can just come to the graduation part of the event, which is the main part. Remember this gruadation is fake, it is just a symbol that represents the stage at which many young students get stocked and cant move on.

I would be afraid to attend...

I wish I lived near Washington.

I also would be apprehensive about going especially so close to immigration reform. You just know that they are just trying to get as much of us out before any form of CIR comes around. and the would be a perfect place to raid.

June 23rd baby, ill be there... rise and shine... kinda long hours though... leaving NYC at 6am, staying in DC till 6pm.

You have no reason to be afraid about going. There will be over 500 students there, documented and undocumented, supporting the DREAM Act. Also, don't forget that after the Graduation, we will be visiting our legislators to urge them to co-sponsor and support the DREAM Act.
