Maybe Hilary Should Have Won?

I am perhaps the biggest Obama supporter. Heard him speak in 2006 about empathy deficit being the biggest problem in the U.S and knew that he was destined for great things. But given the rhetoric and actions of the whitehouse on immigration reform with 60 votes in the senate according to Sen. Reid-- I have to pose the question.

Would Hilary as president be better for DA and CIR? Because she is a gifted politician and like her or not, everyone can agree that she is tough and knows how to get things done politically will the DA been attached to cant vote against bill by now. Obama might be more gentle or cerebral, but it might be easier for a shrewd partisan politician like the Clinton's to make immigration reform a quicker possibility.

Mccain winning might also have been positive for CIR or DA because he usually has the gumption to do what he feels is the right thing to do.

So who agrees that maybe the hispanic vote for Obama might have been a mistake and maybe that needs to get reported.

If the Republicans were smart they would do their outreach and would be surprised that hispanics might be listening and ready to change "lovers" if you will.

i actually agree that mccain could have been a better choice as well. but after all, who knows? the fact is that mccain didnt make it and obama is the president... and things are not as good as we wanted it to be.....

personally i would have thought mccain was better choice for DA because it would give him more troops to fight in iraq and afghanistan... even if majority of dreamies choose college, there would still be significant amount of dreamies who would have joined military as well. and mccain definitely wants more troops

then rest of dreamies can benefit by just choosing college option...

There is a lot of crap going on right now. I agree I wished Hillary Clinton had won at first because to me she seemed like she would actually try really hard for DA or some kind of immigration reform. But we can't complain at least Obama is going to try to help.

During Obama's campaign all I heard him talk about is health care, health care, health care.....he promised America health care in 2009.....no? So he is doing exactly what he said...try to fix the economy and get the health coverage for all Americans. He is doing that right now. I only remember a few times I heard him speak on immigration to be honest. I believe that Clinton and Obama have the same views on Immigration.

Guys, I don't mean to curse but fucking relax. This is only the 5th month of his presidency and we are already hearing talks about the possibility of DA and CIR this year. Of course, we would all want him to do more but to say that McCain or Clinton would have been better choices is pointless.
