Anyone know Border Patrol activities in Amarillo, TX and Interstate I-40 from Amarillo to Albuquerque?

idk about I-40, but i do know my uncle drove from Los Angeles to Houston. and Albuquerque is between LA and houston, so it might be chill.

dude, just because there are no checkpoints doesn't mean you won't get pulled over by some small town barney fife deputy....trying to score points w/ the boss! My cuisin got pulled over going from houston to waco (3hr drive) a few days later he was in Mexico drinking a corona.....jaja

I thought cops can only ask for driver's license not immigration status...

it works like this..in texas if you are over 18 your are suppose to have some sort of valid id..if you don't the officer can detain you and take in until your identity is verified, example no arrest warrants etc...lately here if they take you they will ask for your legal status!

an example " Under HPD policy, officers are not allowed to inquire about citizenship status during routine traffic stops. Suspects without valid identification can be fingerprinted, even for minor offenses. Carrillo, however, had several forms of ID, including at least two Texas driver’s licenses. "

I expect things to change around here this is the 4th cop that has been injured or killed due to an illegal...
