I was checking on the map and found out there was someone like 2 blocks away from me ! (I live in Glendale near the Albertsons on S. Central) .. Also there was someone more towards the Glendale mall and then I also saw one person in San Fernando near Glenoaks/Maclay .. (I am going to be buying a house up there soon!) PM me if you are one of these people! lol

Just so you know. The map is precise to the zip code level, not street and house number. =)

Might I inquire as to how you are able to pinpoint the location of these users? Are members volunteering their addresses?

THE INFORMATION IS COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS.

You provided this information at some point, we did not employ any techniques to obtain it. There is absolutely no, and never will be, any way to find out where any specific user is from this map or any other part of the website. Privacy and security are hands down the most important part to me as the operator of DAP.

Let me also point out that this information is incredibly important to us.
It allows us to run geographically targeted campaigns.
It gives us a visual presentation of actual presence of undocumented youth around the country.
It saves us money when we send email, since we don't have to send everything to the whole list.

I cannot overemphasise how much these numbers and your geographic location matter to what happens on capitol hill. The global nature of the internet may have helped to elect a president. District representatives are still elected by their people. These numbers are what legislators really care about.

If you haven't filled out this information in your profile, please do so or simply enter your email and zip on the front page.
