How is the life for an undocumented in Washington State? other than the fact that you can get a Driver's License. Are jobs easy to find? I want to move to Washington because here in my state i cannot get a drivers license and im afraid of driving w/out one. But i'm scared that if i move to WA, I wont be able to get a job. Also, which part of washington is the best to move to? I looked in the kirkland area and the apartments to rent are pretty cheap..

Hey

I've been living here for a long time, and I think it's a pretty decent place to live. I've never lived anywhere else, so I don't know from experience , but from what I've heard from others we have it better than most. People are pretty friendly. I don't recommend living anywhere in the east (eastern WA could easily be a different state) because you won't find many jobs other than field jobs. If you want to work doing that sort of stuff though, that would be a good place to live, WA apples, anyone? Another downside of eastern WA is that it's a pretty "red" area of the state. Thank God Seattle's population -along with the rest of western WA - is greater than all of eastern WA (Spokane is pretty big though), otherwise we'd be a red state I'm sure.

Anyway, I would move to any suburb of Seattle or slightly north of it. A lot of cities south of Seattle are anywhere from slightly ghetto, to VERY ghetto, so not a good area to be living in. Kirkland is in the east side, and any east side cities are a little "stuck up" and more expensive. I'm not sure where you found some cheap apartments (well, maybe they are cheap in comparison to where you live now). In general, Bellevue/Kirkland is not an area for younger people, it's mostly for families and Microsoft employees and it isn't very fun.

Finally, anything too far north = not a lot of jobs + too close to the border.

Hope that helps and good luck with your move. PM me if you have any other specific questions.
