Hello all! I have a big question regarding Greed Card Petition Process, I do not know which section i fall under

The Second Preference, F-2A (Spouse and minor children (below 21 years old) of green card holder) moved forward by 24 days, from December 22, 2004, to January 15, 2005.

The Second Preference, F-2B (unmarried sons and daughters, over 21 years of age, of green card holders) moved forward by 1 month from April 1, 1998 to May 1, 1998.

I have received my priority date feb 11 2007.

Now my question is.... My mom petitioned me in 2007 when I was 18 (still a minor). So 2007 petition would likely be processed 2011 or 2012 (i'm going to be over 21)

Now is 2A age based on the age you file the petition or when you get it? WHich section to I fall under F-2A or F2B?

I am pretty sure it's when the application gets processed. If you have already turned 21 by then, you will need to file under the child status protection act. This rule has burnt alot of folks especially those waiting for visas. Good luck
