Our side of the story

For more than a week Daffodils, Dreamerhippie, Emmjay, and myself were forced to endure slanderous accusations without having a chance to respond to all the petty malarkey.

Now is our turn to set the record straight.

First off, we are NOT spies. The notion that, of all people, Daffodils and I would want to collect information (for what? steal your Old Navy couture, perhaps?) from some of the people who have expressed dismay is quite laughable. Trust me, we are very selective as to the people we befriend here, and most would not make the cut anyway.

Second, we are NOT Sofia. Just because she’s bitchy like we are, and she dishes it out like we do, doesn’t mean that we are the same person. We believe this rumor started, and was consecutively blown out of proportion, after Daffodils made an extemporaneous comment to someone (via PRIVATE message, emphasis on private) not thinking much of it, without realizing that apparently private means everyone gets to hear it. Silly Daffodils.

And in case you’re still wondering: yes, I have met Sophie (and so have a number of people here). She’s ever the nicest girl who wears ripped AA leggings, platform slingbacks, drives a car with an Obama bumper sticker, and is considering becoming vegetarian after the fabulous tofu scramble we had at Greengrass — hardly your run-of-the-mill, Walmart-shopping Alicraper as some have suggested.

Third, if we ever wanted to say something to anyone on this forum, rest assured we would say it to their face. I personally don’t need to hide behind anyone to say what I think about this Jesus guy, for instance. Last time I checked, Negrita (along with her religious beliefs) and I were in good terms, but if that’s not the case then it’s just as well. As for Ed, I don’t know him, I don’t think I’ve ever talked to him, and I couldn’t care less about him. Next.

Fourth, I’d like to thank every single one of you who’s contacted us over the last few days expressing some of the kindest thoughts imaginable. Special thanks to gsb89, wnsleepy, CosmicDream, Fish, Feenmi, Minakins, drvenom, maurolv, prettyjolie, buckminsterfullerene, swiftp, String, TheGift, K-Man, Loki, and Loquito23. On behalf of Daffodils, Sophie, Emmjay, Dreamerhippie, and I thanks again for your support.

In conclusion, I’m glad that I was vindicated in the end. However, the same cannot be said about Daffodils, Sophie and Emmjay who have not yet been cleared of any wrongdoing. It is in that sense that this feels like a Phyrric victory, where my beloved friends are still being unduly punished. I hope that the ongoing investigation will absolve them as well, for I join others in the impression that this forum will not be the same without them.



PS: Juang you never cease to amaze me. I know that you probably jizzed in your pants at the thought of being remotely involved in this situation, but to use this opportunity to plug in your follower-less blog is a new low even for you. I love how all this time you claimed to be my “friend” but you threw me under the bus the instant you got a chance. MOD EDIT: Please be respectful of friends and enemies alike.

I knew you guys were innocent. I still don't know what happened though. lol

As for Ed, he is a cool guy. We both live in the same town, he has helped me a lot these couple of months. From getting a health card, to preventing me from getting a job at places the could get me deported.

All in all everyone had there own opinion of what was going on, but now that you're cleared that means your innocent, but theres still others who might not care and still think you're a fake person (his username starts with a J). A good example would be the trial of OJ. He was proven innocent, even though most of us (well at least me) know he did it.

Seriously, people must have to be very ignorant and stupid to think you guys are spies. You guys just bring the fun to the forum =)
Why would they want to collect information from the members, since the majority are undocumented? What good would it do to them? It's not like we're legal and they'll get any benefit from it. If we were legal than that would be a different story. Perhaps trying to steal identity? But c'mon guys seriously.. These people are not anything compared to spies.. they're just common people who want to help the community with whatever possible, we should be thankful.
Mods, can we please get Daffodils back? We need her. This forum is not the same without her.

Hahaha Angeleno, you got to posting this before I did.

I hope the rest of the forum realizes that the accusations propagated against us were just lies from people with nothing better to do. If anything, it was slightly amusing to read the verbal diarrhea Alpha, Juang, and Chivas. You guys are like the Three Stooges, only not that funny.

Reading some of the comments without being able to respond was slightly maddening considering that a lot of you have seen my picture and/or have added me on myspace / facebook (both with my real name) where there are more pictures and my friends / location in real life. Some of you have my phone number or MSN or AIM. To be called an "Alicrap spy" was incredibly absurd.

To allow such access to my personal life only to get unfriended and doubted is such a slap to the face. To be honest, it hurt a little bit when only a few people stood up for me. I thought that there would be more, but it was sadly not the case and I'm glad I found that with this petty crap instead of something that mattered a lot more.

I'll admit that I went out of my way to remember some people's names and their likes and dislikes in the event that I had opportunity to meet them in real life, it would be like meeting an old friend. In no way were my actions malicious and I resent that due to the quips of the Three Stooges, newer members are going to doubt my sincerity and trustworthiness. While it's true that I don't really have a filter between my thoughts and my words and that there's something that I enjoy about being rude, I nonetheless value others' privacy and their need to not divulge personal information and I would never do anything to undermine that. I understand that we're all secretive because of our situation.

Thanks again to Nick for the restoration of posting privileges. Alpha, Juang, and Chivas ... not only are you guys despicable, you're straight up spiteful. How shitty your lives must be that you need to take it out on people you will never have the fortune of knowing and being friends with.

Infact, Daffo, and Sophie are the only 2 in this forum who's seen my real pic.
And it was a little disappointing to find out that they might be fake, and were just collecting information, because they are one of the few of has some sort of info on me.

Sophie even thought that ''I was really cute''. I thought she was cute too, so when I heard about the news, I was rather dissapointed.

And me and the daffster, had our conflicts in the past, but from some time now, me and her are in 'chill mode' of sort. Not BFF's, but definitely not enemies.

And yes, I do like Chivas, and Juang.... Who doesn't?
They're funny, I like funny people. But it doesn't mean that I am associated with them, it also doesn't mean that us 3 are plotting some skewed ways to get our fellow dreamers in trouble.

And no one said all of you were ALIPAC spies(sp?), if anything, I said you three created a fictional account in order tell people what you couldn't tell them face to face. Lots of conincidences occurred during the 3 days the idreamofsophie account existed, don't you think?

Anyways, I considered you my friend, however, I am not friends with liars (now I can spell it right, thanks to someone who corrected me when I wrote liers, I forgot who it was, but thanks)

And that night at the chat room, after I had talked to you about sophie, and you told me everything was ok, I knew you were lying(sp?) or at least not telling the whole truth.

This whole drama was fun for about a week, now you're back (even when some of the accused are not, kind of confirming what I had suspected from the start) lets move on.
