hi guyss!

for purposes, my name is lakersgrl24, i can't explain how lucky i feel to have found this website, i dont know why i haven't looked it up before, i think i was trying to avoid the fact that while other people looked at the usual regular stuff online, i had to type in questions about being an illegal immigrant, it just made me realize more how different i was from others. So i would take less and less time looking for answers and help online. But after finding this website, i feel like i can finally talk to other people who understand me,and are going through similar situations. I have so many questions about life, and would love to hear other peoples stories as well, so keep on the lookout for me in other threads, and say hi!

disclaimer: By typing the above, I am not calling people certain farm animals, I was simply reminded by their responses of a game that people tend to play when they are little kids, the name of the game escapes me as it has been almost a million years since I last played it (minus 999,988 +/- 2 years). This is in no manner to be confused with bullying, I guess I just wanted to point out that one is not like the others kind of deal, I think.
Somehow, I feel like the disclaimer needs to be longer, just because, well, other people make it that way, I guess I will now post some random stuff... maybe information from this site that I felt the urge to visit thanks to a post by drvenom in a different thread which goes as follows:

not sure if they are that great though, it will be tough to beat this other place I went to. btw, http://www.groupon.com/ is a great way to try new places for a low cost, I paid $6 for a $20 coupon at that BBQ joint (their intro sounds, errm.. somewhat lacking "dishes that will make your taste buds dance," well... I guess its somewhat lacking but it gives a feeling that the place may be family operated and stuff and not part of some sort of large chain of stores, so it might be good, i hope).
uggh... still does not look long enough. I would put more stuff on here like posting the syllabus for some of my classes if it was not because I did not ask my professors for permission and this is america, people will sue for anything these days, I have heard people getting sued for not quoting a sentence in an entire book they wrote and it was a quotation that seemed rather childish too, something that I would normally not think it had enough... errmm... what is the word essence to merit being quoted.
is it long enough now... no, does not seem like it, but the clock is still ticking and its fast approaching the time to wake up and start my daily commute to class, so I guess this will be it for now.
