I registered for selective service about 2 months ago(and left the SSN box blank of course). Today i received the letter from the selective service system, and on the registration acnowledgement it has a selective service number, my name, address, D.O.B, and where it says social security it has a what looks like A real california SSN (starting with a 6) and a last action date.

I don't know if this was mistake or what, is there any safe way to verify this SSN and if it's valid and under my name? Is there anyone who got the Selective service letter in the mail and had This happen?
