Oprah's taboo topic

I dont think Oprah will ever have a show on us or immigration in general. Christina has had like 4 shows alone this year (one that aired last night). However, Christina's audience is well 100% hispanic/latin and are mostly aware of the situation.

I dont think Oprah has a dominant hispanic/latin audience. This is why I believe she will never touch the subject. This would really help her bring that audience, but I guess Mike Tyson saying to legalize all Mexicans is as close as we are going to get on Oprah. I just wish that she would help us.

Ultimately, Oprah can't help that much. Having something about immigration on her show would garner a little attention, but that's it. Instead, focus on people who matter, people in the Congress. Unless Oprah is willing to go to DC and give out blowjobs in exchange for votes for CIR or DREAM, just forget about her.

And if everyone in this country stopped worshiping at the altar of Oprah and other such people, we would all be a little less stupid.

Congress will vote on our fate, not some goddamn cable tv shows. Even if they do air a piece on Dream (which CNN and other networks that actually matter already has,) you won't get much more than a nod or an 'awwww'. They're not going to roll up their tricep fat and go outside to start a campaign for CIR or Dream.
