It seems that the Arizona state legislature is lining up bills against illegal immigrants for 2010. Some are pretty harsh.

http://www.hispanic.cc/republican_ar...mmigration.htm

A few of the laws include:

Prohibiting municipalities from restricting enforcement of immigration laws.

Making it a state trespassing crime to be present in Arizona undocumented.

Giving subpoena powers to prosecutors to enforce the state's groundbreaking law to punish employers who knowingly hire undocumented immigrants.

So, if you still happen to live in Arizona, well I don't really know what to say. Sadly, it seems as if the bills will pass.

I am saddened by this due to all the immigrants who are going to suffer. This is why Obama and congress have to act now with CIR and the Dream act. At the same time i want to see this happen, i want to see what Arizona does when they no longer have any immigrants picking their crops at 115-130 degree heat. I wish this state senators would stop making their political campaign through hate towards the undocumented community, who through racism and other hardships continue to make their communities and states better. I wish that these people would understand and instead of hatred and racism towards a particular defenseless group they instead would actually do something to help out their citizens. But then again they are this country's so called patriots.

I want to hate these people. I really, really do. But then I think, no, what for? So I can be as bitter and full hate as them? No.

The only thing I can say is, I hope they or future generations of their families never have to flee to another country because they don't have money to feed their family here. I hope they never have to feel what I feels like to be undocumented, to never go through all the pain, humiliation and frustration of being treated like dirt all because a paper doesn't claim you as "Resident" or "Citizens." God bless them, trully.

Seems that he has the votes.

IDK, hope it won't. In the past, the bills they proposed against undocumented immigrants have been vetoed by Napolitano when she was still the governor. Things will be different this time around having a republican governor seated. I'm just hoping sooner or later CIR will pass and will overrule any anti-immigration bill that will come around.
