If nothing happens between now and September of next year, I also plan to leave the country. It may not be the best thing to do, but time does not wait for anyone. As for me I hate growing old, and every day that passes makes me feel like crap.

Nah, never. I would just start doing things that I have always wanted to do but couldn't since I wanted to make sure that I at least stayed a bit longer in this world.

But seriously, I'm waiting till the March. I was going to leave in early January but now I'm stuck doing research and teaching till March 1st. I would never go back to my home country first though. Canada first, Australia second, Europe third (I am a citizen of one of the UE countries so this would probably work), Home country Fourth, then maybe Africa where I will become a world famous Lion hunter.

I'll continue to be the mathematical/economist gangstah that I am. lol. I'll finish my PhD and go to another country with a similar culture to the US. This would be my very last resort though. I'm not planning on leaving any time soon.

I'm going to go to law school here. After that, if anything still hasn't changed then I will be immigrating somewhere else.

If it doesn't pass, then I will apply for permanent residency through my husband because I just got married and he is a natural- born citizen. I would rather not have to apply through him though because if I do, there is a chance that my parents would be deported when they do the background investigation on me.
