UC application fee waiver

Do AB540 students qualify for the UC application fee waiver?? assuming you meet all other criteria.

Ab540 students DON'T qualify for fee waivers.

Yup tell me about it i am transferring and i just had to pay it. It's better if you know to what school you want to transfer. I already knew where i was going so did not have to apply to multiple schools.

listin I was a tranferin student last year and I applied for 5 thats right 6 different UC's and so it came out to be what 300 dollars and I didnt have to pay any of it cuz guess what AB 540 students do qualify for the fee waiver..listin if ur a transfering student you should go to the transfer office in ur school and talk to someone...if ur a highschool student im sure someone can help if not look for agencies on google that help AB 540 students I'm sure someone can help u.....Ill tell u how to fill it out but i totally forgot...but yea I knew where I wanted to go but still it's good to have choices and see what other UC's offer u...so yea check it out...if u dont look u aint goin to find.....oh maybe its different in other states im not sure i live in CA

I remember when I applied last year that, if I wanted a fee waiver, I would have to get it from my community college's counseling office. I don't remember the reason but I never went to the office but there was also an option to request a fee waiver directly from [email protected] if you did not have time to get it in person. There are certain income requisites to qualify for the waiver, too.

Application ID#:

[State that you're applying through email due to time constraints, and explain why you qualify for a fee waiver: income, family size, etc]


I did not state my legal status in the email I sent for obvious reasons.
