what to write n the application ?

it asks if im not a legal resident that i check which type of visa i have, i came in with tourist visa, which one is that ?

then it asks if i want to aply for F-1...

im not reALLY SURE what im doin, from what ive read i kow im not trying to apply as a foreign student...

its in NY its a community college but im also going to apply at CUNY, so im guessing there isnt much diffference between them ?

I'm not sure about New York, but in California you just leave that part blank. It's best to contact the school and ask them what you should put. You could just tell them that you're undocumented; they're not gonna put a trace on the phone call. The last thing you want to do is to lie on your application.

yea i would say call the school and find out what they need from you. i know that in kansas they make you apply as an int'l student if you came here on a visa...but calling or e-mailing an admission officer is the best option. good luck.
