Advice on hiring an immigration attorney.
Hi, I'm about to turn 18 soon, and I have saved up what I think is enough to hire an immigration lawyer to discuss what i can do to get my documents and status in order.
Any advice on what to look for in an immigration lawyer? I live in south florida where there's an abundance of lawyers that deal with Cuban immigrants, among other immigration laws but I just need some advice on what to ask from my lawyer (degrees, specializations, is he part of an official board of lawyers,) etc etc in order to get the best one and not be screwed over? Thanks!
