Senator Chuck Schumer to lead new effort at immigration reform

I've been lurking the forums since back in 07' when I found this site. I usually come here because most of the articles that mention an immigration reform, or the dream act, get posted here. Lately, I haven't seen as many as before so I usually end up browsing myself. I found this article interesting because it speaks of the five key Republicans Senator Schumer wants support from.

Perhaps we should focus on these Senators to support Sen. Schumer's proposal once it has been introduced.

I was a guest on here for quite some time and finally decided to join. I hope others decide to join as well.

I believe the dreamact.info has a list of Senators and their voting history on the Dream Act bill.

Senator George Voinovich was 'unclear' , as well as Senator John McCain.

Senator Olympia Snow is fully aware of the Dream Act, as well as Senator Susan Collins.

I hope you all are contacting those 'unclear'.

How may of you out there have realised that the situation we hvae been in for so long has made us stronger than others?

It truly has. I know it's made me work twice as hard as most of my friends from high school.

It sure has... When you go through hard times your skin gets thicker.

It certainly has. There is a lot of people out their that take education for granted, and for every one of those that does, there is thousands of us who wished we had that opportunity.
