Return to Sender: The Feds, Fueled by Local Anti-Immigration Hostility, Are Draining Talented Undocumented Youth into Mexico

Full disclosure: I'm the author. I'd like to get feedback on it - let me know how you think it could have been improved. There's some pretty good policy stuff towards the end - it's a long article, but hopefully of some help on this issue.

By far one of the best articles I've ever read on the Dream Act.

Thank you very much for piecing together such a comprehensive look at the legal, economical, and emotional sides of our plight. I was particularly moved by the poignant accounts of my fellow Dreamies. Despite having read countless stories akin to Oscar, Teresa, Victoria and Dulce's, you can't help but condemn the prodigal way in which America is bleeding out talent every time you're reminded of our present situation.

Once again, thank you very much for your hard work. It is immensely appreciated.

Excellent job! That was well-written, informative, and deeply human. It brought me to tears, especially because of Joe and the undocumented spouses. Hopefully this will open some eyes.

I'm sad by the comments that were made on the article (the actual website page). Maybe you should write a piece on how to attain citizenship, because I don't think people understand how the system works, ie visa bulletin, wait times, eligibility etc.

THANK YOU mpoli for writing this piece. It's beautiful. I wish more pieces were written like this. It puts a human face to the the problem. I cried, mostly because I see my story written in some of the stories. I don't have kids or a husband but my bf and I are in a long distance relationship. He's actually going to grad school in Arizona and I can't be with him because well I'm safer where I am now. It breaks our heart but I don't think there is anything (other than the dream act) to fix my status.

Anyway keep writing stories like this PLEASE!!! PLEASE don't stop. I'm sure it will help somehow.

Thank you!!
