Good News - Senator Feinstein Signs on to CIR Letter of Support with Senator Boxer

Hello Everyone,

After much organizing to get Senator Feinstein to help move comprehensive immigration reform legislation forward in the Senate—which included a 2,000 person march and rally right outside of her district office in San Francisco and weeks of constant contact at her office—I am glad to report that Senator Feinstein has signed on to a letter of support which will be delivered to President Obama. I have attached the letter to this email. This was a monumental effort on behalf of the California Table of the Reform Immigration FOR America and PICO Bay Area organizations.

Out of the organizing in the San Francisco Bay Area, we have received word that Senator Feinstein’s State Director Jim Molinari will be meeting with Reform Immigration FOR America Bay Area organizations on Thursday, April 15, 2010. The opportunity will be taken to demonstrate the power and support developed for comprehensive immigration reform over the course of the past year.

I wanted to share the good news with everyone and thank all those that have made this critical step forward in our battle for comprehensive immigration reform a reality. Our hard work and dedication has paid off.
