Who Pays Taxes

Hi Guys,

in lieu of this Arizona law I have been reading several of the comments underneath some of the articles reporting on this matter. As you are probably aware there are a lot of hateful people out there that do not appreciate the Undocumented population being here. One of the main protests is that we do not pay taxes. So I guess I just want to see how true that is. Do you pay taxes?


I personally do (not just sales tax but on your income), and I wanted to see who out here on the DAP also does.

I pay taxes. My mom Pays taxes.

I think they just use that as bullshit because most immigrants, illegal or legal, most pay taxes not because they like to but because most of them at the end of the year get money back. So to them, at least to my mom, its like a savings because at the end of the year she gets at least 3 thousand dollars back. So i say Bullshit lol... Let's all play bullshit...

I use my ITIN number and file my taxes every year. I also pay a per capital tax that is sent out to every person in the state. I even get money back becasue I pay too much. But I dont get the workers credit$ that everybody with legal status gets, I don't get health insurance, I paid cash last time I went to the hospital. If they don't want us to use emergency room than let us pay health insurance. If they say we are burden to their school system, than let us go to college so that all that money that they put into our education won't go to waste.

I just filed my taxes and so did my entire family ! I also pay cash for most of my hospital visits and it can get expensive.

I pay taxes, and I pay all my college expenses. I also pay for my health insurance. I managed to get health insurance through my school. It's not cheap but it does it's job.
