Hello fellow political gangsters, I turn on the t.v and see individuals who are for CIR; make these ridiculous arguments for us. The usual "they been here a long time, they work hard, they have a family already, they came for a better life" blah blah blah.

I understand that someone comes for a better life here, both legal and illegal. It's every mother's dream to see their child become someone in life; not having to work construction for a living.

We all in this country are the reason to blame for people crossing the border to come here, they come to do work. Now weather they do the job well or not; that goes by individuality.

That is the argument I don't see on t.v made in favor for us. We all bargain for a set price when we buy things at a higher cost, businesses are forced to cut down prices so they don't go out of business because of the store next to them. Americans want to live a lavish life were they could be paid $15 an hour for a job that doesn't even require an education; plus, they want all the nice benefits that come with it.

But wake up muchachos and smell the coffee. Europe, Japan, China are not under construction anymore, WWII is over and the "competition-free- zone" that you once experienced in the 50s is long gone. Now you have created a global economy that comes with consequences. A rigid capitalistic system that is prioritized in the profits. An American business could hire an illegal for low wages and that doesn't complain OR they could ship all those jobs overseas to China and India.

I have traveled all over Europe and saw the prices. People needed to work a bit more in order to buy a pound of meat; due to the fact that the food and products were made domestically.

It's a $5 sandwich that enables us to spend that other $5 somewhere else. My dad owns hes little construction company, and we occasionally get 1 or 2 day laborers when needed. If they don't work out; we search for someone else. My father could only pay hes workers $90 a day, because he wont get the job if hes production muscle end up costing him allot.

Enforce the law all you want. It's like having a bleeding and only putting in a band-aid instead of getting stitches. Italy constantly gives out amnesty in order to replace their aging population. Europe implemented a system that every EU citizen could go to another EU country and be able to stay IF he has been able to find a job; that way they kick off the dead meats.

These are the arguments I fail to see made in the news cycle. I don't wanna hear weak emotional arguments. No one will feel pity for anyone. Patriotism is b/s. People only unite when they share a common enemy or problem. on 9/11 there was tragedy and everyone banded together to defeat a common threat. Now all we see is Americans hate on each-other and fight like babies in order to gain an upper hand.

Bottom line, enough with the weak arguments made on t.v.

(sorry for the long text, if no one read it its OK; me like to write long time

In my opinion..and i'll probably get extradited to another country for saying it...Dream act should pass by itself period. It is a bill that is 100% justified in every way.

The American media has demonized Mexico and its people especially with the events that have been going on over there in the last few months. I am not surprised that Americans get paranoid about every brown skinned person that approaches their vicinity. I think it's impossible by now to put illegal immigrants under a positive light, plenty of harm has been done already. Not even crocodile tears on the news could save us haha. Just take a look at this poll :/

Our fate lies in the hands of people who see us a potential source of votes, we are nothing but a political interest.

Just because we came here as minors and went to school? Illegal is illegal, particularly under the eyes of the average American. We require legal documentation as much as an adult who has been working here for a long time. The Dream Act has no chances by itself, the problem is escalating and it has to fixed hopefully once and for all. I wish the border security issue could be solved soon as to give the GOP the peace of mind they need so we could move forward and find out what they are going to do about us.

Not only is that poll unscientific (as it's clearly stated at the bottom), but it's also in FOXNews.com

Scientific polling has been done extensively on the issue, and the majority of Americans want CIR; particularly when you include punitive provisions.
