The USSA Wants the DREAM Act in 2010!!!!

I don't know if this is really news, but the United States Student Association supports and wants to advocate and lobby for the DREAM Act this summer with their No Boundaries, No Borders Program. Well anyways, you will find more info on this and much more here:

Now I introduced an idea called The Buddy System and no one has given me any feedback, please I need to know what you think. I already have my two roommates as my voting voice, if you guys do the same we can get this done! They have a right to demand action from legislators, more than we do, and with everyone's help The Buddy System will help us all! Please join!!!!!

PLZ-724, I got your emaila bout the buddy system a while back. I apologize for the lack of response as I have been busy prepping for today's graduation event. Please feel free to share your ideas on this forum... you will get a lot of different ideas and responses which can be helpful!

Yes, but only people who agree with you and that you know will be committed to doing what is in their power to help you and us in our activism. Also people that you know support the DREAM and people that are likely to listen to you on this matter and who won't mind siding with you when it comes to election and casting votes. I mean imagine if every year for I don't know how long the 65,000 who graduate join the Buddy System, and they all bring 1 or 2 friends, then that's 65,000 or maybe even 130,000 votes that we can use toward electing people that will support our cause. Also, more awareness!!!!!

Two bills will be voted on shortly. The first bill is the bill the Senate already passed. If the House of Reps passes it, President Obama will sign it into law. Remember this bill does not have to go back to the Senate.

The "fix" bill is the second one that will get voted on tonight. This bill, if passed, will then go back to the Senate. The purpose of this bill is to fix all the issues in the first bill.
