WHAT IS HAPPENING TO AMERICA?!?!?
They're really trying to dumb down our students by "reeducating" them through the use of politics....we must stop this for the better of our children's futures!!!!!

During the monthslong process of creating the guidelines, conservatives successfully strengthened the requirements on teaching the Judeo-Christian influences of the nation's Founding Fathers and attempted to water down rationale for the separation of church and state.

Here is why I am not worried:

1. Schools don't buy new books every year.
Due to tight budgets schools get new books approximately every 5 years. The effect of this will be delayed.

2. Many teachers don't always directly teach out of the text book. With the help of the internet, teachers now have more resources than they've ever had.

3. This may backfire in a huge way. Some teachers will be emboldened by this. They might decide to dedicate more time than they have in past on the issues which Texas want's to censor.
