The bill has not passed yet but what do you think will be the required documents to submit for the application process?

There are people who came here undocumented and then there are others who are on a overstay status with a social security number/card.

the more the merrier. if you came with a visa, expired documents showing when you got here. if you lost it or don't have one, get all the info you can get your hands on. first communion here? get a picture of it and get your parish to give you an official list of people that has your name. school documents would also do. school pictures. and all of this is crucial if you barely have /will have five years here or came right before your 16th birthday. male? registry card if you have one. if you don't, get one ASAP. maybe even get the matricula showing that you live here or your passport.

if you are part of some club or team, get photos and rosters. when i came to florida my parish had welcoming committee and they did a little reunion and the following week my name was in the bulletin. i can get a copy of that bulletin.

you get the idea. even if DREAM don't pass, is important you get these documents and make copies and save them as people move out and documents are lost.

Think about what documents will most likely help you meet the provisions of the DREAM Act being that there a lot of possible beneficiaries with little documentation but some documents are surely attainable that help meet criteria.

Identification: passport or any other form of recognized ID by immigration.
Here since before certain age: Birth Certificate/passport and or visa if available and for most ISD/School Records which can be verified true.
Graduated from HS: School Records - verifiable
Good moral character: Just like with any other immigration process, after the initial application you will be finger printed and your background will be run to assure you're a person w/o crimes of moral turpitude on your record.

Other documents can help but I think for most DREAM students school/ ISD records are the most verifiable records available.

So I guess the social security # stays the same when it was issued originally? You get a new social security card? expired or current passport?
