Hey Guys!!

I recently got married to a USC and we just opened a case with a lawyer to file for my permanent residence!! The only issue I have now is finding my husband's birth certificate! lol... I'm kinda shocked on how easy the process is, the lawyer said that since I entered with inspection and since my husband is active duty military, I should be getting my interview in about 1-2 months ...If anyone else is a military wife, or know where I can get info to help me through this process please let me know

Good luck to you guys with the DREAM Act! I am confident something will happen pretty soon, dont lose faith!! ...I will continue to advocate for it as much as I can

Hey.

I'm a military wife and I recently received my permanent residence through marriage. Yes, for military spouses, it can be easier to adjust.

To obtain your husband's birth certificate, you can find out where he was born and call the office of vital records there. That's how we got my husband's birth certificate.

I'm don't know if you know (because some people tend to think it's impossible), but you can be enrolled in DEERS, receive free healthcare, dental, get a dependant ID, etc. Also, make sure your husband lets the military know that he is married ASAP so he he can begin receiving BAH and BAS.

Oh, and you can go to immigrate2us.net for more info.

Good luck! =)

I think that marriage should be without the contract and be more like 'pay as you go' with no commitment.
