International DL

Good Day all.
Just trying to see who has one, or has ever had one, put it to use, etc.
I'll be getting one soon.

i have one. i am able to register my car and purchase insurance. never been pulled over though, so not sure what would happen.

i got one, pulled over once but nothing came of it (show proof of living out of the US (passport or voter's card). Insured by Mexican company inside the US.

How did you get it? I've been trying to get one for a while now but all I keep finding is those lame Spanish to English translation cards.

nope, just got a ticket...and you gotta show up in court (it's the same as driving w/o a license). i consider myself lucky. dont risk it guys.

Its from your home country. You get the regular license first, then IL from there as well. You cant drive wit the IL w/o the home country DL.

No, its not. It counts as a License, its way Better than NOTHING. Ticket or not.
Yea i cant go all the way out to WA anytime soon. So ill stick with this.
