Fundraising Ideas

Hey guys, so I need a little bit of help. I don't know if any of you are familiar with my story, but in a nutshell, I have gotten into UCLA for the fall and have little to no money for it. As we all know, due to our situation we have to be crafty and creative when we're in need of money.

I have been told by a few people that a good way to get through school is by fund raising. So here is where you guys come in. Do you have any interesting ideas as far as fund raising goes? Of course I don't just want to ask for money. What are some creative ways to go about it?

If any of you have done this, please feel free to share your story. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks !

I need money too!!

you can sell on Ebay or Craigslist.... just make sure you will not lose money on shipping when selling on Ebay and including the fees. i say go around, garage sales and other places where you can gather things and post them on selling sites.
oh, if you post on Craigslist and sell something do not put your contact # or email on the add if you do not want spam and prank calls, you can use the anonymous email they give you, and meet that person on a public place, you don't want someone to know where you live..

bake sale?

I love cake and if I saw you selling, I would definently buy.

A sexy car wash/bake sale. I'm serious. Or if you're ugly, get some hot friends to help you out. You'll have money for school in no time.

You can always buy lottery (sorry, I don't know much about public schools in Cali).

Speaking of the lottery, What happens when lets say an immigrant like us wins and goes to collect his/her prize?
