I know that felonies affect your eligibility for the Dream act, lucky me I'm not a felon, but I got a class B misdemeanor in my record and a couple of P.I's and traffic tickets. Still, I'm of good moral, smart, hard working and many other good things. I'm about to get my associate's dregree in business management, and want to start a new business and to help inmprove our economic status here in the U.S and the World if possible.

This would probably have to be looked at and reviewed

Charges under Federal law are completely different as it relates to State law. What may be a misdemeanor charge under State law might be a felony under INA immigration law as both systems have their own classifications.

There are well over 50 states that have there own classification for "Class B" misdemeanors" and the charge under INA might be different, therefore no one can answer your question without knowing what you were charged with.INA classifications for Ineligibility are usually "CIMTs"[Crimes Involving Moral Turpitude] and more serious crimes are usually called "Aggravated Felonies".Both classifications could create problems for adjustment, regardless of if it is Dream act or not.

I learned a lot from Ianus' post. Looks like your next step is looking at what you were charged with and where it stands on federal law.
