Some clubs give you registration priority, so I would look into that. You also meet people who can later give you great connections.

Do ANYTHING you can do for priority registration. You can ask the associated student union and other departments. If you don't hear about any go around every building's administrative office and ask.

And I believe most departments have scholarships open only to people of that major. I can attest to receiving a couple from the school of engineering.

I am a Biology major. I love it, there's so many other productive things I could be doing but I can't without a social at school. But other than that as long as you get the right professor and the right classes you should be good. Another thing though is that in the past year my registration date for classes has been super late so it has been a challenge to look for classes that are still open which is why I want to join a club so I can get priority. I don't get any help, I've been applying for scholarships lately because tuition has gone up 2,600 so they can really help =[
When are you transferring to CSUN?

whats do you by that? do the clubs ask for social? and isnt there like scholarships that you can get through your department of your major? well im trying to get in for this coming spring, i need to get out of my JC an get started on by B.A. but my counselor says if i cant get in for the spring, that i could get in for the fall of next year but i want to go already. i have a 3.15 gpa right now but by the end of this fall semester i should be like at a 3.25 or 3.30 gpa. and how much is tuition there again with out including room and road becuz im planning on living with my aunt who lives in north hollywood so its not that far.

Well there are some programs I want to sign up for like there was this one for cancer research but i couldn't. No clubs don't ask for social # but I want to know which clubs are the ones that help me get priority registration. And yeah that's what I heard that I don't think they are taking in transfer students until the fall, but you can inform yourself if you'd like.
Tuition for me was 2,533 plus books. I don't dorm or anything I commute =[ Where do you go right now?

well my counselor told me that i should find out by September so if i dont get in i can still apply for the fall in October. well hopefully they do take in some ppl and maybe i can be one of the lucky ones the major im going for isnt impacted so who knows. and what do you mean "inform yourself " do you mean ask to see where i am in line. are you still paying the same tuition for this fall semester? and you haven't gotten any small scholarships since going there? well i go to the community college up north in the central valley.
