I feel dumb compared to everyone on that site. Not all of us are overachievers

Where is the guy that wants to be a rock star or the girl that dreams of becoming an actress ?

I'm saying. Sure it's great that those people are doing an awesome job academically, but they never mention average people like ourselves. Oh well, whatever puts the Senators on our side.

Gabby Pacheco is pretty average. She is only on there because she walked 1500 miles.

I wouldn't necessarily brand Gabby as being "pretty average"; walking 1500 miles for something you believe in is a pretty amazing thing to do.

Just because someone isn't studying molecular biology doesn't make them worthless lol, you shouldn't be as hard as you are on yourself.


Also, I read all of the stories even though most of them are reposts from articles that have published already. It definitely reminded me of Tam Tran. So sad that she passed away early.

Who is Tam Tran?

Tam Tran is another Dreamers who testified before Congress to urge congressmen/women to support Dream Act. She passed away earlier this year in a car accident.

I do admire those Dreamers for coming out of the shadow; I personally can't.
