I'd really like to hear your opinions about this movie... I watched it, it was very offensive, but I also found it highly hilarious... I think it was very clever how Robert Rodriguez, the director, used comedy to relay the issue of immigration...

It was classic Rodriguez, cheesy action flick/satire, with predictable lines; and it was highly entertaining... In my opinion anyways... Maybe this will help to start softening people's hearts on immigration, even if its just a tidbit =)

Have not seen the movie.
I love Robert a Mexican-American who is not afraid of showing his Mexican side. The especial features on his DVDs are hilarious.

Lol, I felt like it was your typical movie. I think the Machete guy is going to retire so this is his "before I retire" movie.

BUT getting to the down and gritty of the movie. I mean McLaughlin (or as I like to call him McCain) sounded like your typical right-wing conservative. Some things were just far-fetched. Like, them winning the battle, I was like OK how is this going to solve anything, if there are still people out there that oppose illegal immigration.

Eh, I dunno, it wasn't my kind of movie... just saying.
