Come on people we can't give up now, I understand how you feel, but we have to turn the page about the DoD bill and keep fighting for DREAM, we MUST take advantage of the momentum DREAM has right now, and urge Sen. Reid to bring DREAM as a standalone, and keep calling the rest of our senators for support. I saw a lot of people in the chat room saying, I'm going back to Somalia, Mexico, Colombia, China, Venezuela, etc. but believe me, in most cases we are better off here in the USA. So don't give up, we lost a battle, let's win the war!

Today an important vote failed in the Senate to attach Dream to the Defense bill.

However we need to pass the Dream Act in order to pave the way for reform that will help you as well. Right now we need you to call Harry Reid's (D-Nevada)office and ask the Senator to bring Dream as a standalone before November's elections.

Dial 1-202-224-3121 and ask to speak with Senator Reid from Nevada.

I hope "dreamers" don't give up. We need to keep picking ourselves up. Remember to persevere through this.

Isaiah 40:31 (New International Version)
31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

i dont think you should tell people not to go back. I think this option should also be supported, because some users on here are wasting their lives and degrees waiting for this DA. Alot of users on here are age 25+. As much as i support the dream act and want it to pass, i refuse to give in to the idea that this Bill is our only way to a normal life.

Guys DO NOT give up. Please. At least not right now when DA and has so much momentum. Call Reid/Durbin (The leader/whip) and ask to bring DA as standalone before the elections!

You have to realize, DA was not voted against. It was the Defense bill!
